Ideal ReferralAn investor desiring to set up a real estate holding company to acquire multiple residential rental properties who is looking for an attorney who can guide and assist them from the formation of the holding company through the acquisition of the property and beyond to the rental and management of the properties.

Top ProductMy knowledge, experience, common sense, work ethic, professionalism, and commitment to my clients.

Top Problem SolvedA former BNI member contacted me stating that he and his wife were unable to proceed with a planned subdivision of their property and refinance of their primary residence. Their original attorney had failed to do his job and had completely confused the bank as to the nature of the property title. Additionally, the bank was unable to legally distinguish the subdivision from the property to be refinanced and had an inaccurate appraisal, confusing things even further. After taking on the matter, I quickly had the subdivision straightened out and completed, had the bank satisfied as to the clarity of title, and had that former BNI member and his wife happily closed on their refinance.

My Favorite BNI StoryAn individual moved to VT from out-of-state and, in seeking to purchase her new home, hired a BNI realtor. This BNI realtor then recommended that the Buyer use my office for her legal services. Prior to closing, the Buyer asked me for recommendations for painters, contractors, and flooring vendors. I provided those referrals, all BNI members, and later learned that she had asked the same of the realtor and had used each of our referrals without question, stating that if both her lawyer and her realtor trusted these folks, they must be good. This, to me, is the essence of how BNI works.

My Ideal Referral PartnerMortgage brokers, realtors, financial planners, and bankers who would like to be able to offer high quality legal services to their clients at reasonable rates.
