Top Problem SolvedOne of my favorite projects was a woman I worked with who had a journal that she had kept for 18 years. For her daughter's 18th birthday, she wanted to give this journal to her daughter, but she wanted to have a copy to keep for herself. I produced a replica of this journal for my client by carefully scanning and cleaning up each page. I then printed it on acid-free paper and bound the copy all together. As I was cleaning up the scans, I skimmed some of the journal to ensure everything was perfect, and I was reading it back to front. Each year was a beautiful letter to her daughter about everything the daughter had done that year that made this mother proud. It was a record of this mother's love. When I got to chapter one, I learned that this daughter had been adopted! This was such a beautiful keepsake for their relationship. When I gave the copy to the client, she teared up and I knew the journal meant the world to her. I was honored and humbled to help her with this project that had been 18 years in the making.
